Hudson Valley Young Ringers Festival

The first Young Ringers Festival was held and organized by Susan Guse at her home church St. John's Lutheran Church in Poughkeepsee in 2010 with Kathleen Wessigner as the guest conductor. In 2011 the Hudson Valley Handbell Festival/Conference provided financial support to help the Young Ringers Festival become an established program for middle school bell choirs. It is the mission of the Hudson Valley Young Ringers Festival to provide middle school age bell choirs (grades 4-8) with a mass ringing festival experience geared towards the needs of young people..
